Compare Social Security to personal savings or a private

cigarettes,  alcohol,  or preparing for retirement.
    The Mayflower arrived at Plymouth Rock in 1620 and
Plymouth Colony began with a social idea which achieved

loyal to the communal system that Social Security is today.
Everyone worked to provide for “Society:”  Colonists grew

The first thanksgiving is the result of their decision.
    Many people volunteered for indentured servitude to travel
here on ships.  Others were captured and brought here as slaves.
Immigrants repaid indentures and slaves bought freedom to live,
and own their harvests.  Gaining control of earnings to provide       Goal for Writing
for retirement is similar to release from bondage.  Those who
demand protection by the collective never left the old country.
Quakers learned by fasting,  abandoned collective agriculture

Soviet Russia enjoyed seventy years of government enforced
famines and “bad harvests.”  More recent starvation in Ethiopia
and Sudan only strengthens the desire for government control
of  Education,  Medicine,  and old age security.  Man chooses:      Noble Vision
and is capable of error.  Error becomes a routine procedure of
bureaucracy when enforced by government.
    Capitalism is the political system of the United States which
is a based on Individual Rights:  to choose,  and own property.
The constitutional charter of the United States was chosen to
direct the enforcement power of government to protect choices
of citizens to live humanly,  by recognizing Individual Rights.
Private property is the material effect of one’s choices.
    Communism controls all factors of production  to provide
goods and services to “society.”  Private property is illegal.
Workers are not free agents in the communist industrial army.
In 1762 Jacques Rousseau explained his “Human Rights” idea
of society:  a human ant colony bonded by a Social Contract.
Americans read John Locke’s idea of  “Individual Rights” and
declared independence in 1776.  Frenchmen were aroused by
ideas of  Rousseau and stormed the Bastille in 1784.  They lost
their heads in the guillotines while Americans were hanging
together and uniting by writing the U.S. Constitution of 1787.
German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck was doomed to repeat
the tragic history of “Social Insurance” a century later,  and            “Shady Origins of S.S.”

    What’s in this for me?   Why volunteer to abandon Security
enforced by government?   A volunteer could be released from
the tax burden of almost a tenth that is taxed from earnings.

This is a  management choice.  Convicts doing hard labor on          Bureaucracy

Many people have served twenty years of military service or
have private retirement plans.  Military retirement and social
security are paid by enforced taxation.  Police and soldiers
do not produce goods as an industrial army.  They protect all
citizens from criminals and invaders.  Taxation is enforced to
avoid uncertainty of government funding.
Private employers must compete for each penny voted
and paid by those who endorse their performance.
    Suppose that half of eligible Social Security participants
choose to withdraw.  Is this a catastrophe ?  Or is this a
bail-out from the train wreck of approximately $7.5 trillion
unfounded liability?  If half of citizens volunteer to abandon
Social Security,  three trillion dollars of debt burden is lifted
from all Americans.  Ain’t no horsefeed for the Volunteers
when they get back to the barn,  but they are harnessed to
pull this wagon with 40% of the full tax rate on earnings.
    Security?   Social security trust fund money has been
“Invested” in (productive?) national defense, medicare,
and educational ventures which are “Interesting.”
Ain’t no money under the mattress.  More taxes must be
collected from workers payroll (or income - to repay the
social security trust fund) before any cash can be paid to
retirees.  Government can only issue ration coupons to feed
hungry retirees.  Only working people can redeem these
promises by sweating to put food and goods on the table.
Working people have always managed their lives better than
the bureaucrats or scientific socialists and central planning.
Incompetence of government management of the factors of
production was demonstrated by President Ronald Reagan
(Economic Calculation Theory  of Ludwig von Mises
predicted the failure of communist central planning).
Generous politicians legislate benefits for retirees that are
provided by exhausted neighbors who must work two jobs.
Politicians bribe voters to enslave workers,  and trap workers
with the illusion of old age security.  Polish workers said:
“They pretend to pay us,  and we pretend to work.”
Observe the prosperity of people who have freedom of
individual choices and control of their earnings.    Privatize!!!
